COAST PATH

Took a summer solstice walk along the coast path last night. Twas a beautiful, warm, sunny evening...

Came across this slow-worm, which is not a worm or a snake but a legless lizard.

Then on the way back noticed a little pulse of fresh swell sliding through the glass.

    God, I do miss the sheer luxurious length of the solstice in England. Three years in LA after 22 in Guildford, and I'm starting to pine for a rainy day, a good curry and a 9 PM sunset.

    Have a pint for me.
