Nearly 10 minutes long but worth it to hear Derek Hynd describe his thoughts and feelings on how going finless has opened up new possibilities for his surfing...
I see his board was made by Michael Mackie. Me and Johnny Boy "met" Moikey in Nusa Lembongan in 1989. I say "met" but that's a bit presumptous.
We'd been there for a week with a bunch of Cronulla boys who were all salt-of-the-earth, Arak-Attak kind of guys, but they all fell into hushed tones when it was rumoured that his Highness Michael was expected to arrive soon.
He turned up a couple of days later with a vision of a girlfriend, didn't say too much to anyone, but just ripped the shit out of Shipwrecks and Lacerations.
Whether you’re here because you meant to be or stumbled across this by accident, hello. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I’m not entirely sure what this blog is for but it’s reasonable to expect a variety of musings. Mostly related to surfing, skateboarding, some about design, a bit on music, a few about Cornwall and sometimes just good old fashioned random inspiration. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thanks for visiting kernowkalling. Hope to see you here again soon.
